Dr. Mohan Bolla got his Baccalaureate and Masters Degrees in Law (specialized in Labour Laws) from the University College of Acharya Nagarjuna University with distinction. His Dissertation on “The Individual Dispute under the Industrial Disputes Act” has been adjusted the best dissertation. Having been an activist student of the Legal Aid, Dr. Bolla had also served as Secretary to Hostels in Nagarjuna University for 3 unanimous & consecutive terms. Dr Mohan secured the Doctorate for his empirical research on the “Special Economic Zones Act and the Rights of the Project Affected Families” from Andhra University. Dr. Bolla has cleared his UGC NET in his first attempt. Dr. Bolla had been serving in all the three regions of the combined Andhra Pradesh as Principal of several law colleges before he became the Professor of Law in Christ University, Bengaluru. Dr Bolla had also been associated with Jan Shikshan Samsthan, sponsored by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India as Programme Officer and Director.
Dr. Bolla has been a professor of Law at Alliance University, Bengaluru prior to his inception as the principal of Kristu Jayanti College of Law . He taught subjects like Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Commercial Arbitration, Research Methods, Labour Laws, Criminal Law, Interpretation of Statutes, Law of Evidence, International Trade Law, Intellectual Property Law etc., He has been regularly contributing one chapter co authoring with Prof Dr Annam Subrahmanyam in Annual Survey of Indian Law published by Indian Law Institute, New Delhi. He has published more than 30 articles in reputed Law Journals including the Journal of Indian Law Institute, the Journal of Constitutional and Parliamentary Studies. Dr Bolla has extended Resource Support in many National Seminars organized by BPS Mahila University, KhanpurKalan, Kakatiya University, Warangal, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam,Osmania University, Hyderabad, Srikrishnadevaraya University, Ananthapur, Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswavidyalayam, Tirupathi, National Law School of India University, Bengaluru, Andhra university, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Osmania University, as a chair. Dr Bolla has been delivering Extension Lectures in various Colleges and Universities viz., School of Law, Vel Tech University, Chennai, School of Law, Crescent University, Chennai, Kokhrajhar Law College, Kokhrajhar, Bengaluru Law College, Bengaluru, DNR Law College, Bhimavaram, SV Law College, Tirupathi,
He is in the Editorial Boards of several Law Journals. Dr Bolla has been guiding and adjudging Ph.D. and other Scholars of several Universities.
Dr. Bolla has been a member of the BOS and Research Committees of several Universities. Dr Bolla is known for innovative initiatives in legal education (such as organizing ‘Nyaya Samvada’ sessions and Vishwa Nyaya Samvada Series with legal luminaries and judges [every weekend] striving for achieving legal academic excellence.
